This establishment is my regular visit. I was feeling like butter chicken, garlic Naan and some tangy sweet lemon Cheesecake. So I went out had my food it was good as all time. And the finest thing happen today was I met the sweet and humble head chef UN MALLICK we spoke a bit he spoke about his journey his achievements as being a chef to a head chef. Beautiful person and character. But whether I go to samsara, neil, Bonova and salt and pepper I usually find myself With some problems when I am in the marine hill establishment I had some main course left so I taught of getting a romali roti. But I was served phulka forcibly I had to agree because the reason given by the manager of the resturant was its very crowded at amaya. Brother what do you expect on a Sunday night at sea shell its always crowded upstairs that's why I prefer salt and pepper. Crowd is no reason to tell me that the rumali roti won't happen..kudos to the female staff and the head chef for forgetting these small issues and making something worthwhile.
Had a wonderful experience at Salt & Pepper during our stay at Sea Shells, Port Blair.
Great hospitality from the management, staff is very courteous. We tried various cuisines during our stay and found the food and serving top notch.
From Indian cuisine to Chinese to Continental the food is awesome. Go for it.
After a delicious lunch that I had from Sea Shell Neil, I wanted to visit Sea Shell Port Blair. It was less than five minutes from where I stayed. The restaurant was empty when I dropped by around 7 p.m. The ambiance of the restaurant was calm and peaceful. The interiors were simple yet elegant. As soon as I was seated, the waiter lit the candle on the table. That set the right tone for my evening and meal. My order was for a Crispy Chili Baby Corn, Vegetable Sizzler, and Lemon Water. The Crispy Chili Baby Corn was indeed crispy with its texture, and it was the perfect start for the meal. It tasted good without any sauces or dips. A Sizzler is a complete meal by itself with fries, vegetables, rice along with a sauce or gravy. It does take time to prepare all the ingredients for it. The vegetables like the carrots, baby corn, cauliflower were crunchy, and the green peas were soft. The fries were crispy on the outside, and soft on the inside. Though I was finding it difficult to finish the whole Sizzler, I enjoyed every spoon of it. The sweet Lemon Water was refreshing after a long day, and it went well with my spicy meal. Their service was swift. Their staff was courteous throughout the service. The appetizer reached my table under 10 minutes, and the main course took around 15-20 minutes. Pricing of the dishes on their diverse menu is expensive. I'd recommend this restaurant to anyone who's looking for some delicious food in Port Blair.
